Objection! -- The murder case took a most unexpected turn. Appeared in the Fundamentally Challenged anthology by Jeff Turner Fiction. Received an Honorable Mention from the Memphis Science Fiction Association for Best Short Story (Other) Category 2005.

Stolen Thunder -- Never steal from a god. Published at Biff's Boards (now Cold Glass). Originally titled Hac Tao, was written for an anthology to be called Denizens of the Dark. Unfortunately, after the story was accepted the anthology folded before publication. The editor of Denizens had asked for the story to be retitled. My younger daughter suggested Stolen Thunder.

A Tale of Two Kings -- One gave his life for his people, one gave His life for all. Published at Gateway S-F Magazine.

To Our Brothers -- A letter from the end of humanity. Published in The Three-Lobed Burning Eye Issue #7. Appears in the Three Lobed Burning Eye Annual, Volume 2 from Legion Press.

To Touch a Dragon -- What would you be willing to do to touch a real dragon? Published in the Tales of Fantasy anthology (Kerlak Publishing 2008).

Uncle Bill's Boys -- Rural America is no longer immune. Published in Britain in the February 2003 issue of Alternate Species Magazine.

Up in the Air -- Why can lighter than air craft go where heavier than air can't on Centauri? Published at Aphelion Webzine Issue #41. Originally titled Aerostat.

The Urn -- Disrespect for the dead is dangerous. Published in Morbid Musings (defunct).

MOTION PICTURE SCRIPT

The script for the short independent film Swordbearer is based on scenes from Ascendant.

POETRY

The Unicorn Cycle of poems, including Cyclic, Query, Unicorn, The Unicorn Continues, Beasts of Life and Death, Fate, Ariel Comes, The Return of Tanara of the Light, Transition, Renewal, The Unicorn Reborn, Golden Unicorn appeared in several printings of poetry chapbooks by World of Poetry Press and in Aphelion Webzine between 1998 and 1999.
